I travel to different parts of Los Angeles on different days of the week. Presence: You can choose to be present during the session, allowing you to learn and engage with your dog, or you can opt for me to train your dog independently while you are at work. Customized Training: Each session is tailored to meet your dog’s individual needs and your specific training goals, whether they involve manners and cues, behavior modification, socialization, or specialized skills. Virtual Private Training
$150/session
These sessions offer a flexible and accessible way to engage in training and behavior modification from any location. Eliminating the need for travel allows for greater flexibility in scheduling. Virtual sessions are recorded (if you consent). The recording will be provided to you, allowing you to revisit the content at your convenience, ensuring you can reinforce your learning or review your training plan. These sessions can accommodate anyone, anywhere in the world. You can join from the comfort of your home or office, making it easier for everyone to connect and collaborate. Since virtual private sessions eliminate travel costs, they are more affordable than in-person meetings, making them a cost-effective option. Despite being conducted online, virtual private sessions are just as effective as in-person training.

Behavior Consultation

$250 for initial 90-minute video session
$150 for hour long follow ups
Behavior consultation is a structured process designed to address specific behavioral issues in cats and/or dogs. This consultation occurs virtually, allowing for safety and convenience for pet owners. The session is recorded for future reference and to ensure that all recommendations are clearly understood and easily accessible. Following your initial, 90-minute consultation, you will receive via email: Personal Behavior Modification Plan: A tailored plan that addresses the unique behavioral issues of the pet, focusing on positive reinforcement techniques and gradual desensitization strategies. Management Plan: Strategies to manage the pet’s environment and interactions to reduce the occurrence of undesirable behaviors. This may include crate training, safe spaces, and controlled introductions to new stimuli. Enrichment Suggestions: Recommendations for activities and toys that promote mental stimulation and physical exercise, helping to meet all of your pet's needs. Consultation for Different Pet Types For Cats Identification of stressors and triggers in the cat's environment. Suggestions for changes to the cat's environment to encourage natural behaviors. Techniques to reduce litter box issues, territorial aggression, human directed aggression, and excessive vocalization. For Dogs Reduction of common behavioral issues such as reactivity, aggression, and resource guarding. Training exercises that reinforce incompatible behaviors. Recommendations for socialization opportunities and safe enrichment. For Cats and Dogs Guidance on introducing new pets to each other safely and effectively. Strategies to manage resource guarding and territorial disputes. Suggestions for joint enrichment activities that promote bonding and reduce competition. I welcome your dog into my home, providing a comfortable environment while you are away. Pets receive individual attention, playtime, and care tailored to their specific needs. Enrichment Hikes

Monte (Susan's husband) offers small group hikes most weekdays! Monday and Thursday mornings: Valley/Los Feliz Tuesday and Friday mornings: West LA Pick ups between 9-10am Drop offs between 11:30-12:30pm

Group Classes
Obedience and Tricks
$155 for 6 week class
Novice Obedience Class The Novice Obedience class focuses on teaching basic manners and essential cues for dogs. This class is designed for dogs that are new to training and covers the following: Basic commands such as sit and stay Walking nicely on a leash Building a strong foundation for good behavior Each session lasts for 6 weeks and is conducted through the West LA Obedience Training Club. Tricks Class The Tricks class is designed to teach fun and engaging tricks based on the AKC Trick Dog Levels. This class is perfect for dogs that have mastered basic obedience and are ready to learn new skills. Some of the tricks included in the novice level are: Spin Paws Up Jump through a Hoop Tricks class is also 6 weeks long and offers a great opportunity for dogs and their owners to bond while having fun. Once you've mastered Novice, you can keep learning more tricks, all the way up to Advanced Performer if you would like!
